Our Story
DJJI represents the wonderful names of Michelle's four sons. Twenty-five years ago, after her youngest turned just 12 months old, she faced the challenge of being made redundant from her job. Fueled by her passion for teaching her boys she launched her very first non-registered business, Affordable Tutoring! With a simple ad in the local paper, she quickly attracted eager parents looking to help their children excel in Math, English, Science—especially immigrants from Asia. This amazing opportunity blossomed into a seasonal demand for support, assisting students from kindergarten all the way to grade 12, and even some university students. With wealth of knowledge in Specialized Accounting, Audit, IT Audit, Finance, Management Accounting, and Taxation, Michelle also earned her Master's in Education, focusing on research in Adult Education. Her research journey allowed her to uncover the unique challenges and needs that adult students face. And from these incredible experiences, DJJI Enterprises was formed!
